A Resident has been channelling his inner Romeo this Valentine’s Day by handing out red roses to the lovely ladies at HC-One’s Catherine House care home in Frome, Somerset.
John spent a lovely afternoon handing the flowers out to some of the ladies and even gentlemen at the home before eventually keeping one for himself.
John commented: “Today you can me Romeo.”
After a busy morning playing cupid, he sat down with his fellow Residents to enjoy a delicious meal – braised steak with chips, mushroom and peas. All Residents and Colleagues enjoyed spreading a little extra love across the home to make the day even more special.
Residents spent the afternoon chatting and swapping romantic stories before a romantic dinner with one another. The tables were beautifully decorated as Colleagues served delicious food that Chef Kristy Pole had made from scratch for the special day.
Kristy said: “It’s good to see all those smiles.”
