Residents at HC-One’s Godden Lodge care home in Southend enjoyed a small tipple, some classic Irish food and a sing a long this Paddy’s Day.
The Residents loved taking part in St. Patrick Day, a day that is so full of colour, fun, love and celebrations. They loved seeing the unit decorated and the staff dressed up wearing green and had a laugh and a giggle at seeing the leprechaun costume.
The Irish themed lunch menu was created by the wonderful kitchen staff and went down at treat at lunch time. It consisted of Irish stew, some lovely bread and of course a small alcoholic drink.
Godden Lodge care home Manager Larie Mizona, said: “It’s good to see the Residents laughing so much after such a difficult time.”
