Residents at
Aberford Hall care home in Leeds enjoyed a spooky party to celebrate Halloween.
Both Colleagues and Residents at the 41-bed nursing home love Halloween and were thrilled to be having a little party to celebrate the holiday.
The afternoon was filled with lots of spooky fun, Halloween treats and music.
Shane, a lovely performer who usually comes into the home, came to sing some Halloween classics.
The home was brilliantly decorated, both Residents and families said how nice the home looked and how well it had been decorated.
Fred, a Resident, remarked, “The spider doughnuts are very creative and the chocolate oranges were fun to eat from.”
Another Resident, commented, “I loved the spooky themed party food and Shane, he is such a fantastic singer.”
Beverley Deplacido, Care Home Manager, remarked, “The Residents had such a great time at the party. Shane always has a standing ovation from the crowd.”
