Residents at
Park House, residential and residential dementia care home, in Guisborough have celebrated St Patricks Day in style.
This year the celebrations have been scaled down for St Patricks Day, but this doesn’t mean the Residents didn’t have a great time celebrating.
The Residents enjoyed the day with huge smiles on their faces.
The tea trolley did its usual rounds throughout the care home offering tea and coffee. But a special treat was offered to the Residents too, a pint of Guiness to get them in the St Patricks Day spirit. Quite a few of the Residents took up the offer to have one, and they really enjoyed the special treat.
The kitchen staff worked really hard to put together some lovely treats, which included cupcakes which were enjoyed by everyone.
The Residents enjoyed the staff wearing the big Irish hats and some of the Residents tried them on too! Irish music was playing throughout the home. It was a small but appreciated celebration.
Julie Woods, Care Home Manager, remarked, “What a fantastic day we had, the Residents enjoyed every minute of it!”
