Step inside Rothley care home launches Summer Garden Community ProjectHC-One’s Mountview Care Home in Rothley, Leicestershire, is delighted to announce the launch of its Summer Garden Community Project, a new weekly initiative designed to bring together residents and members of the local community in a shared celebration of nature, friendship, and creativity.

Every Monday from 2pm to 3pm, Mountview Care Home’s garden will become a vibrant hub of activity where people of all ages and gardening experience can join forces to nurture and beautify the outdoor space. Activities range from potting plants and pulling weeds to painting garden features, sharing stories, and enjoying light refreshments.

Petalynn Goodwin-Hill, HC-One’s Mountview Care Home, said:
“We’re incredibly excited to open our doors and garden to the Rothley community. You’re an expert gardener or just want a welcoming space to meet new people and enjoy some fresh air, our Summer Garden Community Project is for you. It’s about growing more than just plants – it’s about growing connections and wellbeing.”

The project aims to foster a sense of togetherness while enhancing the garden environment, offering a meaningful way for participants to engage with nature and each other throughout the summer months.
