Residents at HC-One’s Foley Grange Care Home, in Kidderminster, indulged in a delicious celebration on Monday, July 7, for World Chocolate Day, with a Matilda-themed chocolate and cake extravaganza.
The care home transformed into a Roald Dahl-inspired wonderland, where residents enjoyed a global selection of delectable chocolates, from velvety Belgian truffles to exotic flavours from distant corners of the world.
The highlight of the day was a nod to the iconic chocolate cake scene from Matilda, with residents enjoying a variety of rich, indulgent cakes reminiscent of Bruce Bogtrotter’s legendary feast.
This purpose-built residential and dementia care home offers 66 en-suite bedrooms and a range of thoughtfully designed amenities, including a cinema, vintage tearoom, garden room, sky bar, and a salon.
