Step on the scenic Leicester boat trip where care home residents take in beautiful viewsResidents at HC-One’s Bradley Hall Care Home, in Leicester, enjoyed a memorable and joyful outing aboard the Baldwin Trust boat, cruising along picturesque waterways and soaking in the serene natural beauty on Friday, July 28.

The tranquil boat trip, which operates out of Leicester Marina in Thurmaston, offered Bradley Hall residents a peaceful setting to relax, socialise, and appreciate the gentle rhythm of the canal.

Laughter and smiles abounded as residents shared stories, sang together, and engaged in warm conversations, which created lasting memories in the company of friends.
 
David Donisthorpe, HC-One’s Bradley Hall Care Home resident, said:
“It was absolutely lovely getting out on the water and being with everyone. We had a good laugh – they even got me singing opera!”

Mia King, HC-One’s Bradley Hall Care Home Wellbeing Coordinator, stated:
“The trip was really great overall. Our guides were friendly and helpful, always ready to answer our questions about the places we visited. It made the experience even better.”
