Stirling care home Residents take part in community men’s club

Male Residents from HC-One’s Forthbank in Kildean, Stirling teamed up with other gentlemen from other local care homes to form a ‘men’s club’.

The men from Forthbank, fellow HC-One care home Fairview and other local home, William Simpson met in Vinney’s Bar in Stirling for a chat and a drink. Representatives from Stirling Men’s Shed kindly joined the gentlemen and helped them to build a bird table. 

A great time was had by all, Residents from Forthbank commented that it was really good to work on a project together and building the bird table helped the men remember fond memories of building things in their family homes. 

Yvonne Graham, Home Manager at Forthbank said: “It’s heart-warming to see the gentlemen from all of the local care homes coming together to share common interests and hobbies.”
