Residents at HC-One’s Victoria House care home in Stockton-on-Tees enjoyed reminiscing about days at the seaside.
The team at Victoria House host regular reminisce sessions for Residents, this time they chose to remember their favourite things about the seaside. Residents have all missed the seaside due to COVID-19 restrictions, but they are hoping to get to visit the coast again this summer if the rules permit it.
The group created a reminiscence board with photographs of local beaches including Whitby, Redcar and Seaton Carew alongside Resident’s favourite sights, smells and feelings from the seaside.
A great time was had by all, with one Resident commented: “I love to watch the waves come up the beach until they splash your feet, I hope to see the sea again soon.”
