Stoke care home Residents enjoy knitting and natter clubAt HC-One’s Branston Court care home in Stoke, Residents have been enjoying the return of the popular knit and natter club.

On 11th May, the knitting and natter club returned to the delight of Residents who have missed it during lockdown. During the afternoon club, Residents discussed knitting techniques, what they used to knit when they were younger and more.

The ladies chose their own wool, needles to make whatever they wanted. A lot of Residents started to make their very own blanker which will take a long time to finish, but they look forward to the next few knitting clubs to carry on with their designs.

“The ladies love this group, it has gown over the last few months,” said Branston Court care Home Manager, Pauline Gardiner.

Located in a peaceful residential community in Burton on Trent, Branston Court is a friendly care home with 45 beds, that offers nursing and nursing dementia care.
