Stoke-on-Trent care home get creative in Easter bonnet competitionResidents at HC-One’s Brindley Court care home in Stoke, which offers nursing care, got creative this Easter and created their own beautiful Easter bonnets.

This Easter, Residents took part in an Easter bonnet competition. Home Manager Benette Santos judged the bonnets which Residents made from old hats, papers, glitter, coloured pen and little ornaments.

Resident Christine Fowles took first place with her bonnet. Second place was Allie Langford and in third place was Pauline Davis. The Residents had a lot of fun creating the bonnets as is seen by the photos.

“I really like my hat. It was fun getting messy with the glue and laughing at each other in our hats,” said Residents Christine Fowles.

“The Residents put so much effort into these colourful bonnets, it was difficult to pick a winner,” said Benette.
