Brindley Court nursing care home, in Longport, is proud to share the great news about their garden in which the Residents harvested the beans that they planted.
Residents at the home are very excited to harvest one of the vegetables that they have recently planted in the home’s garden.
John Whieldon, who lives at Brindley Court, leads the other Residents when it comes to gardening and is very proud to share to others his knowledge on gardening.
According to John, “Watering the plants always made me happy, to harvest what you planted is even more satisfying!”
The beans harvested were prepared and made available for lunch! Straight from the garden which everyone enjoyed tucking into.
Benette Delos Santos, Care Home Manager, commented, “As always I am very proud of our Residents who are actively involved in our home.”
