Summer fayre celebrations at Kirkby House

Residents at HC-One’s Kirkby House care home recently embraced the sunshine and warm weather as the home held a summer fayre in the garden.

All Residents took part in the event and enjoyed themselves in the sunshine, as various stalls were in place with activities such as a tombola which had some exciting prizes.

Hot food and a variety of beverages were available for all to enjoy, whilst live entertainment was provided by singer Geoff Owens before everyone retreated into the home as the weather took a turn. 

The day’s event raised over £300 which will go towards the Resident’s comfort fund.  Sarah Perrin, Deputy Manager, commented: “It was lovely to see Residents enjoying themselves alongside their Relatives. A wonderful afternoon has been had by all and we look forward to the next event we hold.”
