Summer fayre celebrations at Newton Heath care home

Brookdale View care home in Newton Heath, Manchester was delighted to raise a fantastic £140 at its recent summer fayre.

The home opened its doors to members of the community as it hosted a fayre filled with exciting activities, with Residents from neighbouring HC-One home Averill House also attending. 

The fayre boasted a variety of exciting stalls, including those selling wax melts, cakes, handbags, crafts and bric-a-brac. 

In addition to a performance from an amazing singer, Brookdale View held a fantastic raffle with prizes generously donated by local businesses, including a meal for two and hair and beauty vouchers. 

The day was enjoyed by Residents, Relatives and community members alike, with Dolly saying: “The singer was amazing” and Pearl adding: “The cakes were scrummy!”
