Summer fun with Dunstable ResidentsResidents at Ridgeway Lodge in Dunstable, which provides residential and residential dementia care enjoyed getting back into the garden following the heatwave this week.

Colleagues at Ridgeway Lodge arranged for a range of different garden activities for Residents to enjoy after sheltering away from the blistering heat the country had experienced. 12 Residents attended and enjoyed games such as garden golf and archery.

Residents revelled in being outside in the sunshine, but now it had cooled down many had appreciated the slightly lower temperature. Others also commented on how much fun they had playing the games. One resident went on to say, “Thank you for such a wonderful afternoon” whilst others mentioned how they really enjoyed the golf and archery.

Karen, a Wellbeing Coordinator at Ridgeway Lodge went on to say, “It was a beautiful day outside, it was lovely to spend time in the garden and seeing the Residents enjoying themselves”.
