Summer preparations underway at Ayr care homeResidents and team members at HC-One’s Claremont care home in Ayr have been busy preparing for the coming warmer months.

Everyone at Claremont has been making the most of the long-awaited Spring sunshine by doing some garden work ready for the Summer. Residents have assisted with the painting of bird boxes and planting seeds all while enjoying music with tea and biscuits in the home’s garden.

There were lots of conversations about favourite flowers and gardening tips which Residents have picked up over the years. One Resident commented: “There’s nothing better for the soul than fresh air, I am so excited for summer.”

Claremont Home Manager, Catherine Potts said: “The garden at Claremont is looking amazing thanks to the hard work of our green fingered Residents and team members.”

Located on High Thorneyflat Wynd, Claremont offers short and long term care packages for older ladies and gentlemen that require nursing care and nursing memory care, for those living with dementia.
