Sun, sea and sand at Stafford care home

Residents at Maple Lodge care home in Stafford enjoyed a fantastic fun-filled day as staff brought the beach to the home. 

Activities on the day included a Punch and Judy Show, balloon modelling, a dip in the paddling pool and of course, sand, buckets and spades. 

Residents were joined by their loved ones as they enjoyed the special day, which was rounded off with a delicious serving of fish and chips and ice cream. 

Sarah Dodd, Home Manager at Maple Lodge, said: “It was so lovely to have a day filled with fun activities at Maple Lodge, especially as we got to bring the beach to Residents and their loved ones.”
