Sunderland care home creates crafty Christmas baubles
Christmas cheer filled HC-One’s Ashton Grange care home in Sunderland as Residents and team members came together to create beautiful homemade baubles for friends and family.

While Christmas will be different to normal for most this year, the team at Ashton Grange wanted to give Residents and their loved ones that festive feeling, so they put on their elf outfits and turned the home into ‘Santa’s Workshop’.

Residents had their photographs taken in a selection of Christmas hats and the pictures were made into baubles for Residents to gift to their friends and family when they are able to visit the home once again.

Leo, a Resident at Ashton Grange commented: “I can’t wait to see my family and give them something I have made for them to hang on their tree.”

Ashton Grange Home Manager, Lesley Dawson said: “The baubles are so beautiful, it was heart-warming to see Residents smiling and chatting about who they are going to give their bauble to.”
