Connie Shipey and Sheila Christy are Residents at Hailsham House care home, in East Sussex and have their own social bubble.
Today Connie was giving manicures to her dear friends and fellow Residents.
Impatient of waiting for beauticians and salons to reopen, they decided they could do it themselves and they did! What a fantastic job done.
“Let’s do it ourselves!” remarked Connie. Who loved being able to do nails independently.
Sheila said, “I love my nails in baby pink, it reminds me of the sixties.”
Home Manager, Catherine Brewster, commented, “Promoting independence even for manicures, gives such a good wellbeing result for the ladies.”
