On 3rd December, Residents at
Rose Court residential, residential memory care, nursing and nursing memory care home, in Radcliffe, have been designing Hannukah and Christmas t-shirts.
Colleagues at the home held an ‘Arts and Design Day’ in celebration of Hannukah and Christmas. They decided to ask the Residents to design their own t-shirt for the occasions.
Malcolm, Joyce and Graham all got involved.
Malcolm decided that he wants a menorah on his t-shirt to celebrate his Jewish roots.
Joyce designed a traditional Christmas tree with all the trimmings.
Graham decided to go down the route of using black with a splash of red with the words ‘I love Santa’.
Karen Davies, Care Home Manager, commented, “The result was three very happy and fulfilled Residents and all are looking forward to Christmas with more wonderful creative activities to choose from.”
