Given the beautiful weather in Eastleigh this June, the only thing to do is celebrate with ice-cream and Residents at
Chandlers Ford residential and nursing care home, did just that!
Sylvia, Mike, Peter, Agnes, Pam, Mabel and Archie (all Residents and pictured) enjoyed spending time in the courtyard with an ice-cream on 20th June as the sun was shining down on them.
Accompanied by Nurse Diana, Carer Anjita, and Housekeeping Helen, and KA Priyanka, all had a lovely afternoon with their delicious treats while soaking in the sun.
Enjoying each other’s company, as well as the sunshine and of course the ice cream.
Mabel commented, “Oh what a lovely treat!”
Lucy Hilferty, Care Home Manager, remarked, “We have new umbrellas and garden furniture which makes our courtyard a lovely tranquil place to enjoy an ice cream in the sunshine.”
