On 14th January it was a baking day at HC-One’s
Hyde nursing and nursing memory care home, on Tameside.
Kitchen Colleagues Shannen and Leanne made cupcakes with Resident Audrey Flecture who really enjoyed it, particularly missing all the ingredients together.
Audrey remarked, “I used to love baking when I was at home!”
The activity sparked reminiscing and chatting about likes and dislikes, she went on to say, “I love sweet things, like chocolate and sweets.”
Irina Babici, Home Manager, commented, “Audrey thoroughly enjoyed this activity and we are looking to do more in the future!”
