The Residents at HC-One’s
Sandon House care home, in Mossley, Tameside, were entertained on 17th April by a travelling theatre company.
North East Producers performed ‘One Fine Day’ for the Residents at Sandon House, which tells the story about a young couple who plan their next trip to Blackpool.
Everyone enjoyed a good sing song to the classic tunes such as ‘Summer Holiday’, ‘One Fine Day’ and ‘I Got You Babe’.
The company visits the home throughout the year performing various shows for the Residents, which makes it particularly handy for Residents who are unable to get out and attend the theatres.
Mary, who lives at the 42-bed residential and residential dementia care home, said, “Oh they were great! When are they coming back?"
Louise Schofield Wellbeing Coordinator, remarked, “These travelling shows are fantastic! They bring so much joy and happiness to the Residents."
