Residents at HC-One’s Acacia Court care home in Pudsey have been keeping in touch with their loved ones with the help of technology during the national COVID-19 lockdowns.
To stay connected to their friends and family, Residents have been enjoying regular Zoom video calls during the COVID-19 pandemic which has resulted in three national lockdowns.
The video calls have become very important to both Residents and their loved ones and some Residents have even enjoyed their first meeting of new additions to their family via the calls.
Julie Whitaker, Acacia Court Home Manager said: “Seeing our Resident’s faces as they chat with their family is truly heart-warming, I am so pleased we are able to facilitate the video calls and keep spirits high during these difficult times.”
