Tenlands care home judge a Christmas card competitionResidents at HC-One’s Tenlands, residential and nursing care home, in County Durham have had the special task of judging a Christmas card competition.

Cleves Cross Primary School, in Ferryhill asked if one of the Residents would pick out a winner for the Christmas card competition.

Resident Hilda Davison aged 103 loved being involved. She said it was a really hard competition to judge as all the entries were amazing. The beautiful Christmas scene was her favourite.

Hilda, commented, “This has made my day, I love being part of something so special to the children.

Jill Morton-Carr, Care Home Manager, added, “It’s amazing that in these trying times we are able to still have some involvement with our wider community, it’s very important to us.”
