The Great Escape at The Hyde care homeColleagues and Residents at Bridport’s The Hyde care home, which offers residential care, rushed to the rescue of a Resident’s cat who tried to escape out of the home’s second floor window and go for an adventure.

Starsky was spotted outside of a window, having fancied a little exploration on a sunny Saturday afternoon and unfortunately getting stuck where he was.

Rebecca Dawe, Home Manager, worked with colleagues as a team to rescue the cat, who was perched on the home’s second floor ledge, admiring the views around the home.

Residents thanked staff for their prompt response and Starsky was rescued safely with a ladder by Colleagues, making sure all health and safety practices were adhered to.

Rebecca said, “Every day at the Hyde is never the same! We were very pleased to reunite Starsky with his owner.”
