The Oakes Residents show the love with Valentine’s Day gifts

The Oakes care home in Huddersfield got into the spirit for Valentine’s Day with an afternoon of card-making and gift-wrapping.

Residents joined together to make cards and gift bags for their loved ones, while enjoying chocolates, biscuits and hot drinks.

One Resident commented: “The gifts looked absolutely lovely, I can’t wait to give mine to my Valentine.”

Rachel Keys, Home Manager at The Oakes, said: “Everyone really loved helping each other wrap gifts for their Valentines. Our Residents can’t wait to show their loved ones their creations on the day.”
