Three new resident bunnies at Huntingdon homeThree new baby bunnies have arrived at The Red House care home, in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, much to the delight of Residents and Colleagues alike.

Sadly, in recent months, the home had lost three of their rabbits and everyone was very saddened by this. However, they were very lucky to be graced with three new baby bunnies by a friend of the home which really lifted the mood and spirits of everyone!

The Residents, including Bernie and Peggy (pictured), have been overjoyed getting to see them in their run, jumping around and having cuddles with them. This small act from a kind person has brought so much happiness to the Residents and Colleagues.

The Residents held a vote to come up with some new names.

Wellbeing Coordinator, Chris Said, “It’s lovely to see them bouncing around and everyone loves them!”

Pam, who is a Resident at The Red House, commented, “They’re so cute and fluffy. I might sneak one in my room.”

Alike, Resident John said, “It’s nice having something to focus on whilst I can’t see family.”

Home Manager, Keith Ware, remarked, “It’s a nice new addition for the Residents to go alongside the guinea pigs and fish that we have. We are hoping to get some budgies soon too!”
