A Resident at HC-One’s
Godden Lodge care home in Benfleet met her new red dolly friend and was over the moon with the addition to her life.
Godden Lodge Resident, Mary’s favourite colour which is red and she has always wanted a doll that wears a red dress, just like Mary does.
Colleagues at the home decided to get Mary a doll with a red dress to make her dreams come true. Mary decided to call her doll Matilda and was very excited about it, showing it off to anyone who passed her and keeping it close making sure that it went where she did.
Located close to the coast in Thundersley, Benfleet, Godden Lodge is a friendly care home with 133 beds, that offers nursing, residential, residential dementia and nursing dementia care.
