Staff at
Hatton Lea, nursing and nursing dementia care home, in Glasgow have recently been fundraising.
During the festive period Maureen Grant, carer at Hatton Lea has been hard at work organising toy donation for Christmas at the Salvation Army.
Maureen rallied the staff together and as a team they gathered many toys for the charity.
Maureen and her family have been donating for years, but this is the first time it has been organised at Hatton Lea.
Major Wing from the Salvation Army was delighted with the effort put in and will be bringing the band along to the home to play for the Residents.
Maureen, commented, “It’s overwhelming how generous people can be.”
Care Home Manager, June Sugden, added, “I am delighted with have generous the staff have been and how hard Maureen has worked.”
