Treharris care home Residents take part in hula arts and craftsAt Trafalgar Park residential care and residential memory care home, Residents have been very active in their recent activity session.

Colleagues put on an arts and crafts session for everyone which involved making a ring of forget me not flowers using a hula-hoop; for dementia awareness.

Before everyone knew it, Resident Mair (pictured) was in the middle of the lounge with the hula-hoop around her waist, entertaining the other Residents!

Mair Thomas remarked, “I used to be good at this but I have too many lumps and bumps getting in the way now!”

Everyone had great fun whilst watching Mair.

Kane Thomas, Care Home Manager, remarked, “It was lovely seeing everyone have fun and it really is the little things that can spark the biggest reaction!”
