A group of Residents from HC-One’s Jack Dormand care home in Horden, Peterlee enjoyed a day at the seaside.
The Residents headed to Seaton Carew for some fresh seaside air, some opted for a traditional fish and chips lunch while the rest enjoyed an ice cream looking out over the sea.
Everyone shared stories about visiting the beach with their families and agreed that it was lovely to be able to get out in the minibus again after a year of covid-19 restrictions. One Resident commented: “I really enjoyed looking at the beach and having some delicious food.”
Jack Dormand Home Manager, Ann Marie Shillaw said: “I’m pleased our Residents enjoyed their visit to Seaton Carew, the smiles on their faces really said it all.”
