Trooping the colour at Walsall care homeResidents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Ash Grange care home enjoyed a great morning in honour of the Queen’s birthday as they celebrated the Trooping of the Colour.

Residents first watched the ceremony on the television whilst they indulged in a delicious buffet complete with hot and cold refreshments. Everyone enjoyed sharing memories with one another of the ceremonies they watched over the years gone by, remarking at their favourite occurences during the event.

Everyone in the home joined in as they sung the National Anthem before reminiscing about the Royal family and the events over the years.

One Resident remarked: “I’ve had a lovely morning celebrating the Queen’s birthday like this, it was great to watch the ceremony and sing along to the anthem.”
