
HC-One’s Sandon House Care Home in Mossley, Tameside, Greater Manchester, is celebrating a remarkable milestone as two valued colleagues, Wellbeing Coordinator Louise Schofield and Housekeeper Ariel Balena, each mark 20 years of service at the home.
Louise first joined HC-One as a Care Assistant at another HC-One care home before moving to Sandon House. Over the years, she has worked both day and night shifts, gaining extensive experience in supporting residents and their families. Nine years ago, she transitioned into her current role as Wellbeing Coordinator, where she now leads a wide range of activities and initiatives designed to enhance Residents’ mental, physical and emotional wellbeing.
Ariel also began his career at Sandon House as a Care Assistant. His dedication and attention to detail led to transitioning into a housekeeping role, where Ariel now plays a vital part in maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment for all who live and work at the home. He has also taken on the additional responsibility of Infection Control Champion, ensuring that best practices are upheld and that residents remain protected.
