HC-One’s The Harefield Care Home in Uxbridge is inviting members of the local community to its regular Coffee Morning events, taking place on the last Thursday of every month at 11am.
These monthly gatherings offer a warm and welcoming environment for individuals affected by dementia, whether directly or as a carer, to come together, share experiences, and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in good company. Guests will also have the opportunity to access expert advice from healthcare and social care professionals.
The Harefield Care Home, part of the HC-One family, provides high-quality nursing and nursing dementia care. The Coffee Mornings form part of the home’s ongoing commitment to being a hub of support and information for the Uxbridge community.
Rebekah Axford, Home Manager at HC-One’s The Harefield Care Home, said:
“Our Coffee Mornings are designed to be friendly and informal, open to anyone affected by dementia, whether personally or through a loved one. We want people to feel comfortable and supported, while also having the opportunity to learn more about the care we provide.”
In addition to informal conversation, attendees can benefit from access to dementia-related resources, support services, and guidance on care options. The team at The Harefield is always on hand to offer information and answer any questions guests may have.
