Valentine’s Day celebrations at Brooklands care home

Brooklands care home in Grimsby hosted a range of exciting craft activities for Residents as they prepared for Valentine’s Day.

The craft session involved Residents creating Valentine’s Day cards and decorations, which were later assembled in a beautiful love arch displayed in the home.

Celebrations on the day included a performance from a local entertainer, who sang a range of love songs through the times, with Residents enjoying a dance with loved ones and staff from the home.

Kitchen staff also prepared Valentine’s Day-themed food and refreshments for everyone to enjoy later in the day.

Melanie Walton, Home Manager, said: “Everyone really enjoyed the Valentine’s Day celebrations at Brooklands, especially after seeing the gorgeous display created by their lovely decorations.”
