Residents and team members at HC-One’s Acacia Court care home in Pudsey celebrated Victory in Europe Day on Saturday 8th May.
Everyone at Acacia Court came together to celebrate VE Day, which commemorates the end of World War II in 1945. The team decorated the lounge with flags and bunting while the kitchen team prepared a delicious buffet lunch.
Residents enjoyed taking part in games and having a singalong before the buffet was served. A great time was had by all, with Residents commenting that it was lovely way to celebrate VE Day.
Acacia Court Home Manager, Julie Whitaker said: “I am pleased that our Residents had a wonderful VE Day, smiles and laughter filled Acacia Court on Saturday.”
