Wearing it pink for Breast Cancer Awareness at Nottingham homeResidents and Colleagues at HC One’s Barnby Court care home have been joining in with breast cancer awareness week.

Residents and staff at the Nottingham care home, were involved in all the activities which included wearing pink and various games with prizes to be won.

Kerry, the homes wellbeing coordinator, brought some well needed sunshine into Barnby over the week, bringing lots of fun to a cause that’s very important.

All staff took part in the competition to be the best dressed in pink outfits, even some staff who had never worn pink before were dressed for head to toe in the bold colour.

The winner of the best dressed went very deservingly to Tori from the domestic team.

The Colleagues said that it was one of, if not the best week ever, at Barnby Court! The staff and residents could not get enough of it.

Although the funding amount was lower than previous years, the smiles on everyone’s faces made up for this, and next year if possible it will be bigger and better!
