A couple is celebrating their wedding anniversary with socially-distanced celebrations at HC-One’s Willow Brook care home in Carlton, Nottinghamshire.
Doreen Edwards spent her lovely anniversary with her husband when he came for a window visit at the home. Once he left, they carried on the festivities on a Zoom call, both from the comfort and warmth of their homes.
Due to lockdown restrictions, the couple were unable to celebrate in-person but Colleagues made sure she had the best day possible.
Willow Brook Home Manager, Marie Duke Parker, commented: “Things like this really make us all proud to be part of someone’s celebrations. What a great day for Doreen.”
