Residents at HC-One’s Ashgrove care home enjoyed a week of celebration as they marked Pride and Father’s day together.
In one community within the home, there is only one gentleman – Clifford. Colleagues remark him as being like a father to everyone in the home, helping with tasks and offering advice to get certain jobs done.
He’s been remarked as being thoughtful and kind to both Residents and Colleagues, treating the ladies as though they are royalty. He spent the day being celebrated by everyone in the home, and truly made to feel special – especially as he was able to see his two daughters, grandchildren and wife on the day.
Pride celebrations then began in the home, as Colleagues and Residents dressed in bright colours, with Chandra, a new member of the home, showing of her special hat which consisted of many beautiful colours.
Everyone fully enjoyed the celebrations, remarking at how lovely and bright everything looked.
One Resident commented: “What a lovely variety of colours during our celebration, we have had a lovely week – Father’s day and now this!”
