Welcoming outdoor performers back at River CourtOver the month of September, River Court in Hertfordshire, which offers nursing, residential, residential memory care and nursing memory care, have been welcoming various types of entertainers back into the home.

Entertainers were welcomed back by River Court, who have been allowed to perform again due to the relaxed government guidelines. Performances were held outdoors in their garden which has brought a lot of smiles to Residents and Colleagues in the home.

Music provides such a boost to individuals’ emotional wellbeing, and over the years River Court have seen an incredibly large number of positive reactions from Residents who delight in the entertainment and the connection of interacting at a safe distance.

Residents spoke afterwards and said, “We have really missed being able to welcome performers into our home during lockdown, although we had virtual concerts and quizzes, nothing compares to it being live”.

Bijoy, the Home Manager also expressed similar comments by saying “It’s lovely to be able to host events in the garden again. We just hope that the weather stays warm enough for our Residents”.
