On 20th January, all Residents at HC-One’s
Kirkby House care home, in Westvale, Kirkby, had a taste of all different types of cheeses to celebrate the annual ‘Cheese Lovers Day’.
Colleagues at the 44-bed residential dementia care home, organised a cheese board with a variety of different types of cheeses and crackers to choose from. There was also wine and lemonade on offer throughout the day which Residents loved.
Gladys, who lives at Kirkby House, remarked when trying the cheese, “Oh that’s nice, I enjoyed it!”
Fellow Resident Hazel added, “The wine and lemonade was the best.”
Tracey Conlin, Home Manager, commented, “What a success Cheese Lovers Day was, a lovely time was had by all involved.”
