White Rose House Residents enjoy a day out to Carding ShedThe Residents at White Rose House in Huddersfield which offers offering residential and residential memory care, for those living with dementia, enjoyed a trip out to Carding Shed.

Two separate trips took place, one in the morning and one in the afternoon and a section of the café was shut off specifically for the trip so that the Residents could sit inside without mixing with members of the public.

The Residents enjoyed cups of coffee and homemade cakes and even spent time walking around looking at the traditional old cars and it brought back a lot of memories for the Residents of the cars they use to drive.

One Resident remarked, "The cake I had was absolutely lovely, "" They had some lovely cars, I have really enjoyed it”.

Jodie Seymour, Care Home Manager, commented, “It was so nice hearing the Residents reminisce about cars they used to drive”.
