Wigan Residents try out new karaoke machineAt Westwood Lodge nursing care home, in Greater Manchester, Residents love music, and a good singalong, so January’s karaoke day went down a treat!

Due to restrictions, the home has been unable to have an entertainer in to sing for the Residents, so Colleagues wanted to do something to make sure everyone was still engaging with music. Therefore, a karaoke day was organised.

The new karaoke machine was brought out and the Residents loved singing along and being able to choose their own songs to sing to.

Mary Evans, who is a Resident at Westwood Lodge, commented, “I love music and singing along.”

Chloe Webb, Wellbeing Coordinator who helped to organise the activity, said, “What a fantastic day full of smiles, singing and dancing!”
