Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Cedar Court care home enjoyed a day of friendly competition on Friday as they took part in a variety of games and activities.
The men and women split themselves into two teams as they began with a general knowledge quiz, with the Residents being so prepared that they had made up their own ‘buzzer’ noises.
The quiz then became a game of family fortunes as Residents especially enjoy this game, finding many of the answers amusing. Games were then played with bean bags to win points, whilst everyone clapped and cheered for one another.
Overall, the winning team were the men’s team who were thrilled to win by 224 points to 212.
One Resident remarked: “I’ve really enjoyed myself today, it’s been exciting to play games and compete with one another.”
