Wiltshire care home worker braves the shave for charityOne very kind Colleague at HC-One’s Avon Court nursing, residential care and nursing memory care home, in Chippenham, has had all her lovely long locks cut off in aid of two charities.

Rachael Guildford, pictured, is a Nursing Assistant at the home and decided to brave the shave for Macmillan. All of her hair was cut off and donated to the Princess Trust.

Colleague, and Night Carer, Louisa Brown (who cut the hair) kindly donated a very generous £100 to Macmillan if Rachael got everything chopped, which she did to raise money for this very worthy cause.

Irene Kirui, Care Home Manager, commented, “Residents at the home thought Rachael was really brave and enjoyed seeing the finished result. Everyone said it suited her which it does!”

“Huge well done and thank you Rachael.”
