Wirral Residents enjoy some fresh air at the seasideResidents at HC-One’s County Homes care home in Woodchurch, Birkenhead have enjoyed their first trip out in a long time.

Due to lockdown restrictions, Residents are unfortunately unable to visit some of their favourite places. But a lucky few were given the go ahead to visit a nearby beach for a little day trip.

Stephen, Mick and Jacky enjoyed taking in the fresh air and beautiful surroundings as they strolled along the almost-empty West Kirby promenade.
Stephen commented: “Thank you so much. When can we do it again?”

The short trip out was a breath of fresh air for the gentlemen of County Homes and they are now looking forward to visiting their other favourite nearby places in the future.

County Homes Home Manager, Debby Jamieson, said: “When the Residents came back they were so happy and were telling all the staff and Residents where they had been.”
