Woodlands team at Himley Mill care home touched by thoughtful family gift

Staff from Himley Mill care home were overwhelmed by a kind gift they were presented with from one of the Residents’ families this week and would like to express how grateful they are for such a lovely gesture.

The surprise came from the family of Mrs Beryl Braddock, a Resident at Himley Mill, who kind-heartedly presented the team with a silver commemorative coin in support of ‘The Heroes of 2020’. 

Registered Nurse Jane Rodes represented the Woodlands team and commented, “This is a thoughtful and poignant gift which we will treasure.”

Mrs Braddock remarked, “A big thank you to all of the staff. Very brave and kind.”
