Residents, families, and colleagues at
HC-One's Brompton House Care Home in Broadway, Worcestershire, came together for a fantastic annual Summer BBQ, proving that a little rain can't dampen a good time. Despite the less-than-ideal weather, the afternoon was filled with delicious food, live music, and plenty of fun.
The celebration, a beloved tradition at the home, featured a range of classic garden games and activities. Residents and guests enjoyed playing "hook a duck," trying their luck at the tombola, and participating in a lively raffle where they won exciting prizes. The atmosphere was joyful, with many residents thrilled to take home a prize.
The home’s talented chef created a magnificent BBQ spread that was enjoyed by all. To add to the festive spirit, guests were treated to a refreshing glass of Pimm's or bubbly. The highlight of the afternoon was a wonderful performance by singer Frances Coombes, who had everyone singing along, ensuring the party continued without a hitch.
Vlad Nastasa, Home Manager at HC-One’s Brompton House Care Home said:
