Residents at
Hinckley Park care home, in Leicestershire have had lots of fun watching England play in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
"It's strange having the World Cup at Christmas," were the words from avid football fan, Richard.
But it hasn't stopped Hinckley Parks football followers from watching every single match. And what an interesting tournament it's been so far!
Many of the matches have seen everyone stop to take in the action!
One fixture throughout the World Cup is the themed Christmas tree. This started as a joke back in February before taking shape at the beginning of November with red and white tinsel, some trophy shape-ornaments and, of course, a football topping it off!
Sukai Drammeh, Care Home Manager, commented, “Everyone has had a great time watching all of the World Cup matches and cheering on England.”
